Privacy notice
Rightback helps people and businesses get insurance claims paid, and recovers money banks wrongly charged. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Details you give us in the free review form: your name, whether you are a business, an individual, or an accountant or HR manager referring someone, business name, what you need help with, claim type, insurer name, approximate claim amount, claim status, banks, WhatsApp number and email.
- For insurance claims: your policy schedule and wording, claim form, the insurer’s letters or messages, and evidence such as photos, police reports and invoices.
- For bank checks: statements you download and send us yourself, and, for businesses, loan or overdraft offer letters. We never ask for or store your bank password.
The public form does not take documents. We ask for them separately, through a secure channel, once we have contacted you.
How we use it
- To contact you about your free review.
- To review your claim or statements, give you an honest answer, and pursue what you approve.
Your information is used only for your case. It is never sold and never shared, except with your insurer or bank and, where a case is escalated, NAICOM or the Central Bank of Nigeria — and only for what you have approved. Where a licensed professional is required, we share only what they need for your case.
How we protect it
Documents are encrypted and seen only by your case team.
How long we keep it
Your documents and case data are deleted when your case closes, or at any time you ask.
Your rights
We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by contacting us.
